Am I the only one hoping these don't make it to the USDM version? Since Hyundai isn't in to standalone options I'm worried a couple of these features that I'll never use will either push the price of the new V8 too high for my taste or bundle them with other things I really want as part of an "ultimate" package that I would end up opting out of. Here's hoping the RWD V8 stays at least a little under $50k.

Nice if someone with real graphics skills could clean up the window image so we might be able to make out the interior. I can barely see any details.

Not claiming any 'real graphics skills' here, but here is the best I could do to tone down the highlights, bring out the shadows, and edges a bit.

I would agree. I'm not sure what Hyundai is trying to do with these designs. Looks ok but it could be a lot better.

It's hard to please everyone though. The car has to appeal to so many different markets and age groups.

What I would wish for all of us along with future Hyundai Gensis owners, is for Hyundai to develop a style that has a distinctive personality. Like a BMW always looks like a BMW regardless if it's a 2002 or a 2014. There is no mistaking it.

Additionally Mercedes, Lexus, et al have that "personality" that makes only a real novice to auto styles wonder what brand car it is.

If they're going drastically change the sheet metal every 4 or 5 years to where it barely, if at all, resembles the previous generation, I think they're making a very large error in trying to compete with the European brands.

I dig what you mean...but I think Hyundai is doing really well now after most of their models got a new face redesign ( same applies to KIA ).....i mean before their lines got a new face it wasn't doing so well...and the current genesis isn't doing as well in the states as in korea in terms of sales ( I might be wrong )...there are still lots of people asking me what car i'm driving....like seriously? How long as the Gen been around? They still don't know a Genesis? But hopefully with the 2015 Gen more people will be aware of...and attract more people to buy it.

Besides I heard the 2015 mustang will ditch the look they always had to a more futuristic looking one...will most people like it? maybe...maybe not.

Amen but I will say Lexus had gone a bit off the deep end with their latest styling.

According to Hyundai the 2012 US sales for the Genesis Sedan was approximately 33,973 vehicles....they do not break down how many 3.8's vs. 5.0's were sold.

The grill here seems smaller then the one in the newest renders.

They may have just covered the lower couple (louvers? slats?) of the grill with the same wrap as the bumper. They're going for obscurity with a lot of these. There was one picture early in the thread where they put a lump under some of the camo to make it look like they had vents on the front corner panels.
