looks amazing!! even though i really liked the drop on the other springs (which if you end up selling let me know!!)
if Hyundai wants to compete with the look for audis and bimmers i really think they need to drop the height from factory
Is there a difference in the springs between the RWD and AWD?
ARK contacted me to let me know they had an opening a day early for install. As promised here are pics of the car on the new set of springs. As mentioned earlier, these are gold and are confirmed to be slotting in with their GT-S line. Their GT-S line is a lot more aggressive than their orange GT-F line, which I suspect I had on before these although it was never confirmed.
The springs I had on before measured 27.5" from the ground, through the wheel centercap, to the apex of the wheelwell arch. These new springs measure 26.75" using the same reference points. Unfortunately, I did not measure what the stock height was so I do not know how much lower the car actually is.
According to the guys at ARK, the first springs only lowered the car 0.75" while these lowered it 1.3"-1.5". Again, I could not verify this because I did not take before measurements when it was stock. Maybe somebody who is stock can measure using my same reference points and let us know how much of a drop it really is.
Overall, I am extremely happy this time around with the drop, as the wheels are visually flush with the fender. There was no rubbing whatsoever from any corners, even at full lock. The ride is surprisingly even more comfortable than it was with the other springs. These are not stiff in the least bit and I am definitely not riding on the bump-stops.

NOW THIS IS EXACTLY THE LOOK I AM GOING FOR!!! Your car looks great just like this.
Is there any information on when these springs will be available to the public? Im actually a lil jealous just looking at these pics!
I've been in communication with ARK and they are still a few weeks out from receiving production springs back.

It's been so long since I've been stock I'm afraid I'm no longer a good source of an opinion. With that said, my current springs, although lower, are much less stiff than the first set I tested. I find that ironic, considering they are noticeably lower than the first set.
I feel like these current springs are still very comfortable and do not detract from the luxury feel of the stock ride. If you're anywhere near Southern California I'm more than happy to let you come out and test drive it. That offer is open to anybody nearby who wants to test it and see for yourself before committing.
