  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3T Ecu tune

Down right sleeze ball is what it sounds like

He released the tune, $99. KIA/Hyundai 8 Speed TCU Stage 1 Tune

From the description:

Now... onto the details of why. Why is this tune only $99.00 (cost to cover shipping, handling and shipping supplies). Because I am tired of the Korean tuners holding the KDM market hostage with their tuning prices and hoarding of the KIA and Hyundai ECU/TCU data. This is not their tuning data that I am asking for, not asking for their tunes, or their intellectual property. I am asking for them to release the data that they are given by KIA and Hyundai. Yes... that says "given" to them. They take this data that they have been given, turnaround and charge $1,000 to $1,500 for a TCU tune! This has forced me to make an example of their greed and hoarding of ECU/TCU data.

You're welcome and I'm glad it's worked out!

Lozic is a super smart guy and his goal is to make sure customers are very happy with their purchase. Just make sure to ask questions, so you get what you want the first time. We now have lots of experience with how his tunes work, so we can help figure out what to select based on your needs.

This is my wife's daily driver. She is used to the power of her '18 Infiniti Q60 Luxe AWD with an AMS Performance ECU tune. It dyno'd at 412 HP / 463 lb/ft. She loves the comfort, handling, and tech of the G70 but it lacks that "suck you back in seat feel" of her Q. I'm looking to fix that for her. The ECU / TCU swap looks pretty simple on the YT videos.

I'm hoping to get a similar torque curve from the Lozic ECU tune. Here in SWPA there aren't many sections of roads where top speed matters. 0 to highway speed is much more important.

do you do full 1.7 bar?

do you do full 1.7 bar?
Twister, I haven't ordered it yet. Lozic said he was updating the order form a couple of days ago. Still waiting for the new form. I will be ordering something that runs on 92-93 octane. Probably 1.4 or 1.5 bar. The dyno plot of the Q60 above was with 93 octane. Stock Q60 3.0 with ECU tune only. I'm hoping the 3.3 makes similar torque at low RPM.

I had Q60RS too with JB4 running MAP 4 with additive, full exhaust incl downpipes & CAIs - G70 with tune is way better and I'm running 1.5bar getting sub 4 sec 0-60's and haven't done proper 1/4 mile with both ECU and TCU tune but was @ 12.12 with JB4 before I got ECU tune ;)

Wow.....very impressive twister. Is the torque good at low RPM?

Just received updated order form from Lozic. 👍
Would you mind sharing the updated form? I have the one of the original ECUs and plan to send it back for a few updates but want to make sure I have all the options Lozic offers now

Sure thing. I can't attach an excel file but here's screen snip.

Based on the typical dyno plot that Lozic shared it looks like this ECU tune will be a torque monster. Builds peak torque of 545 lb-ft at only 2,430 RPM.

I did 1.4bar with bubble on sport mode only with the TCU at -5% and shift pressure 2. Did not want to go crazy as this is a daily driven family car

Went with the 1.4bar as I plan to use the JB4 for WMI control and fine tuning boost.
If you ordered again would you go with -8% or stick to -5%?
