  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3T Ecu tune

It could just be me, I'll let my wife test it out. She knows the feel of it.
Cool thx!

By the way, do u guys know what is the "boost ready" feature? I got the excel file from Lozic and I just couldn't figure out what's this option about.

"ON=Fast Boosting, Aggressive boost with less throttle, can use Launch boost OFF = mild boosting"

Couldn't find in this forum either via the search. I mean why would I not want that? What are the cons?

Thanks!

With Boost Ready on, the turbo's will spool at very light throttle. In effect, the car is always ready to rip. The drawback is that the car can feel like it's surging and very touchy when you just want to drive around normally. Several people have commented they don't like it on.

Ok thanks, will definitively keep it off then as I'll usually have the wife and baby with me on the weekends.

Side comment, I emailed Lozic about that Sport+ issue and he actually mentioned its a known issue that hes trying to get it fixed, also mentioned about some issues with the valved exhaust. He said he should have an update soon, will wait for that before I order my module.

Thx JonnyB
So it wasn't just my imagination about Sport + . Comfort & Sport mode plenty fast.

Sport+ must be a newer feature for MY 2022?
I've been in commo with Lozic so these posts will educate me along the way before making my own final decision.

It's an option on my wife's Sport Prestige. She doesn't like it in stock trim, too harsh shifts and have to press pedal a lot further to get the car to go.

In his reply to my email.
Lozic mentioned this for an ECU tune.
"110~120hp gain at 93 octane."
It seems a bit too good to be true for just an ecu tune.
Does anyone on here has your ride Dyno'd in order to verify this claim yet?
An independent before and after numbers would be the helpful.

Yes, sport+ was one of the new features in the refresh for 2022. It replaced the "smart" drive mode.

I'll be the first to say he's probably correct, and the torque gain is most likely more that the horsepower gain.
No dyno, but I do have before and after 0-60 and quarter mile times, verified with a Dragy.
2019 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport AWD, HKS plugs. drop in stock air box AEM dry filter, Mishimoto Oil Catch Can, Lozic 1.5 bar 93 octane ECU, and TCU. I have added his AWD unit, but these times where taken before adding it, FYI.

Stock 0-60 and quarter mile:

Now, you may say, well you got lucky and pulled a good run...but this car is very repeatable 0-60 wise. It'll do a sub 4 second time all day long!

And sub 12 second quarter miles are not a problem either:

Those are facts.
Almost zero mods, and a sub 4 second 0-60 12 second car on pump gas. And so you know, my car is slow compared to guys with meth, E85, catless, running high 10 second quarter miles and sub 3 second 0-60.

So yeah, Lozic speaks the truth.

I wonder Lozix has any back up or proof on this.

Isn't 1.5 bar a bit too much though? I know on the Q60 anything higher than 1.3 on stock u were mostly asking for mechanical trouble.

Are you able to check logs to make sure the car isnt pulling timing, etc? In the Stinger forums I see a lot of people saying max of 1.4 bar with 93 unless you start going the WMI / E blends route. Not sure though, would love to see logs.

I'm personally just waiting for the Sport+ issue to be sorted out to order my Lozic.

I posted my latest log yesterday on the Stinger forum. I've been running my tune for several months now, and it runs like a top. Sorry I can't post the log here now, as it's saved on my home computer, but it's post # 1788 here:Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

If anyone is looking for an OEM ECU bracket and nuts to hold the ECU onto the bracket for easy swap when going to dealer with OEM ECU - check the classifieds!

I removed my Lozic ECU & TCU today. WOW I was just amazed after removal as I was with install. Felt like a 300hp camry. I have always liked my LOZIC set up but appreciate it even more now. In stock form I thought it was pretty fast but now feels slow but it is refined and relaxed for road trip.

Yeah, it's quite the change but as you said, stock was tuned so buttery smooth.

Hey slip I’m waiting for my delivery on a g70 I had some questions bout the lozic tunes if u could help me out a little bit thanks

I recently replaced my stock 225/40R19 and 255/35R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires with 235/40R19 and 265/35R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I was worried I was going to lose speed due to the eight pound total increase due to the larger size...so I had to have some fun this nice, cool morning.

This is with Lozic 1.5bar ECU, TCU at 3 with -5% shifting, HKS spark plugs, AEM drop in filters, a full tank of Shell 93 with 3 gallons E85 mixed in. Stock intakes, stock exhaust.

And here's the log for that run. It was my personal best, my previous being 11.79 @ 115MPH
