Doesn't matter first year or not. Mine is 2017 g80 and makes that noise. I have over 150k miles on the car so far with no issues. So it's just noise. Learn to live with it or just play music louder.couldn't agree with all that you stated. this sound will come back - only a matter of time, b/c the part is defetively manufactured or designed. this is a product liability issue for Hyundai - they just don't want to admit fault. Classic product liability issue from law school....next time i'm going wait a year or two before buying a 1st model year refresh vehicle.....

I have a strange problem. My car vibrates 25-40 MPH but there is no sound or flutter to it!
The vibration goes away for the most part after 5 minutes of driving. Could it be the same problem?
Show them this forum post.. Ask them to man up and do their job right.I’m having a hard time convincing my dealer that this is an issue. Every time I take it in their response is that it’s normal and all Genesis cars do it. They were able to replicate it with another used genesis on the lot. My thought is that two broken cars doesn’t mean it’s a normal thing. Any ideas on what I can tell them so they’ll actually fix it? They said they’ve been in contact with tech line and they said it’s normal. Help me out here.
