  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Spark Plugs

I got the USB cable connection instead of the wireless, and it's been pretty dang annoying constantly hooking up my laptop again and again to log runs, change and modify maps, etc. Even so, it is better than nothing! I figure I'll most likely end up going with Bluetooth later on down the road - that said, I probably should have gotten it in the first place.
Yeah...just get it.

Ive only had 93 octane in it since i got the car, can’t run more than map 1 yet because I still gotta swap the spark plugs which I get that done tomorrow. I’ll tell you my reaction tomorrow when its done lol
Right on !!!! Very cool.

So...what gas is in your tank? No need to mess with any settings...other than selecting your Map.

Settings are for later if you really wanna tweak, etc.

Let us know how it goes. I'm looking in to getting a JB4 tune as well..

Getting my spark plugs switched out right now at a Korean shop, they said they have to remove the intake manifold, as most shops say. Hopefully not here too long.

They doing the gap?...or did you do it ? I assume Denso's ?

Yeah...Denso 5346 plugs and gapping to 0.022".
Okay they are telling me since they are removing the intake manifold its going to take over 2 hours.... that doesn’t sound right and they close in less than that so no idea what they are doing now?

They said close to 2 hours for me as well. Once my guy got in there (never seen the engine before)...he did it in 1 hour 15 minutes.

Well...my guy was a fat f$%ker with massive hands...still did it quick. He must have been really good.

What is their hourly rate? Or did they do it for a flat fee? Mine guy was $80/hour. So I think I paid $130 after it was all done.

Honestly I didn’t even ask, I remember it’s a flat fee depending on the task. I just want it done with to be honest.
