Reincarnating a dead thread with an update.
For those of you that don't know, I swapped my stock
plugs with brand new OEM
plugs, gapped to 0.026", and trimmed the ground straps to make them slightly narrower and a tiny bit shorter to reduce shadowing. I pulled my
plugs today to see how they've been holding up.

Center electrode and ground straps look nice and clean. It's only been a few thousand miles, but still, I like what I'm seeing.
Mods are: JB4 Map 6 (custom map similar to Map 2), AEM intake, ARK midpipes,
Stinger MagnaFlow
exhaust, and Velossa Tech snorkels. Once I get a new
intercooler I'll bump the JB4 up to Map 2 and dyno it. Most likely I'll end up using WMI as well if my dyno numbers aren't as high as I want them to be.
Anyway, so far it looks like the OEM
plugs can be pretty dang good. (Don't mind the threads, that is how anti-seize looks when it gets heat cycled) Now, if I were doing something like Map 5 on the JB4 without any sort of additional cooling (ie water/meth), then these
plugs might be a little too hot. But for now, they're solid, and I'm betting with WMI it will cool down the combustion just enough for these to be right in the zone.
