  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Here is a video of my MagnaFlow mufflers and exhaust tips after install

Why are the tips so big? look's horrible to me.
I thought maganflow exhaust system came with the tips seen on the PING video by scott
I'm looking into buying a magnaflow for my v8 sedan but need to know that Scott had the right tips and these do not come with the cat back system

I agree with you, the tips were too big, and that's why I changed them as noted on page four of this thread (with pictures) Also noted on the 1st page is that this is not the Catback exhaust. It is a muffler and tip swap and that's it. The 1st tips I had were purchased from MagnaFlow, but then changed them due to the size. Neither of the tips pictured in this thread comes with the MagnaFlow catback exhaust.

anyone in Northern Virginia (around the fairfax area) with either the Borla or the magnaflow installed? i would appreciated for a demo. Thank you in advance.

Scott, I know this was over a year ago but I'm looking for the new tips you bought but can't tell what they are. I also can't find the magnaflow muffler only.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

If you go on the MagnaFlow website you can find the universal mufflers tab. You can find a vendor online that sells them using MagnaFlows links to other vendor sites.

The tips are from Motor Sports Authority which is a vendor on the forum. You can send him a PM.

Time for an old-thread bump

There has been much conversation lately about exhaust systems and mufflers. Some are about the known "drone" that most aftermarket setups cause. I will admit my setup has the drone, but being that I don't use the Genesis as my daily driver, I love it. Seriously. The volume is perfect and so is the beautiful noise coming out of the exhaust tips:cool:

If I drove the Genesis on a daily basis or it was my only car, I still couldn't live without hearing the V8, so I'd for sure get the Dynomax VT's installed as member "Rey" did in one of his previous threads. The Dynomax VT's would be pretty quiet, but at least still be audible, and also rid the drone.

Sure wish Hyundai would use a butterfly valve exhaust setup like the Vette, maybe at least on any R Spec model coupe or sedan.
