If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I took it all off, you have to read the etching on the glass to find out. Only problem is when I come back there are gresy marks on the windows from all the people trying to see inside. :D

What did you do about the holes in the trunk lid?

I guess I'm the only guy out there who thinks it was a mistake for the Genesis to be sold by Hyundai dealers. They should have started their own division like Acura, Lexus and Infinity. I think they will see the error of their ways and stand alone. I have never dealt with a bigger bunch of morons than the numerous Hyundai sales people I encountered when trying to buy a Genesis that they didn't happen to have in inventory.
This has been discussed in many threads previously. If you have about $2-3 billion you would like to invest in order to set up a separate dealer network, I am sure that Hyundai may be willing to listen. If I were you, I would do the math on that, and figure out how much more per car Hyundai would have to charge to pay for it.

I did it all around. Front, back, wheel caps and the air bag unit

It makes a huge difference. Here a some pics.

I did everything on my own except the air bag. I had it installed by a dealer.

Kim, I recently purchaseda 2010 v6 with the same 18" wheels.
Where did you purchase the winged center cap for yours?
Thanks, Darrell

I concur with the census that it is not cloaking the vehicle. I will tell anyone that asked that it is a Hyundai. It looks better IMO. Just classier and streamlined. Taking nothing away from the 'H', I just like people to look and fall in love with the car; that makes the shock in hearing that it is a Hyundai all the more whelming.

Seach hyundai and genesis and packages. They have the entire kit to change everything on the vehicle. Picks of my car coming soon.

Considering re-badging my 2010 Sedan with rear/trunk wing, 18" wheel caps and steering wheel emblem. Just wondering how the steering wheel emblem will look. Appears to just stick over the original emblem with like a 3m stick em. Was also curious as to how the wheel caps look. The trunk wing looks pretty cut and dry. No need for a hood wing cause there are no holes to mount it. Someone who has gone through this process if you could please post your comments I would appreciate it. Here is the kit I was looking at.

Hey Chopperdude - There are plenty of threads showing detailed instructions along with tips when it comes to the badges. You'll need to do a search for Badge or Wing and you'll find a crap load of information.

My personal preference is installing the wing on the front hood. It looks sick! You just clip off the posts (there only made of plastic) and stick it on.

Thanks AHSDUMP, good info especially concerning the front hood wing.

Thanks Again

I rebadged with everything but the airbag.

IMHO, the hood badge really makes the car look like a luxury car. It puts it in some nice company with other brands that sport hood badges...ie., Bentley, Aston Martin, Mercedes, BMW and Rolls Royce. Without the hood badge the car has a generic "what is it?" look, like store brand beer. I think that cheapens it.

I didn't care for the look of the stick on steering wheel badge. It looked cheap compared to the stock H. If I was going to update the wheel it would be with the imported cover, from Korea.

A little off-topic, has anyone had trouble with SeoulFul Racing and shipment of items? I placed an order on 12 May, and tried following up on the status...needless to say their response time is seriously lacking. Even called their California number and keep getting the same recording. "Thanks for calling, leave your name and number and we'll get back to you"...

Yeah, I bought a badge set off of them through ebay. One of the wheel caps was damaged so I emailed them back to let them know. They never responded. So I emailed them again and again..... I tried every email address they had but I think they might have responded back to me through the ebay messaging. When they finally got back to me they asked me to take a picture of it and send it to them. I did. Then I didn't hear from them again and about a week later a new cap showed up. Their communication sucks....

I bought the airbag from them as well from their website. That showed up in a week or so and was perfect. If you have ebay send them a message that way. Or just wait a bit longer and it might show up.

My Birthday is next month...should give me somthing to look forward to!! In the mean time my Spoiler and Exhaust tips are here. Pics when installed

I tried tracking my driver side winged air bag and got a "no information available on this item". Three subsequent e-mails went unanswered. I was pretty P.O.'d because I paid for the express delivery which took a day past the posted 3 to 5 business days. I won't be doing any more business with them.

Sorry man. I guess I need to hire a webmaster since I no longer have the time to update it. I have 1 set in stock for sure and 1 trunk piece alone. Could have sent those with the tips. :(

No Problems. Although I still have not received a response, I received the parts yesterday, along with the tips, which look great. Since we are scheduled for rain most of the weekend, I now have a couple projects to work on. Still waiting for my rear spoiler...

I rebadged to "cloak". Quirky H doesn't make it: it's a bent Honda signature! Besides, Hundai is trying to go upscale at the top end - good time to build a distinct Genesis immage. My call: "GENESIS by hundai" (Large "GENESIS", small "by Hundai" underneath).
Let the Genesis and Eqous (sp) Stand out, if not alone.
BoBo

I bought the entire rebadge kit (wheels, interior, hood and trunk) and took it to the local Hyundai dealer for installation. Turns out they had never done one before, but I figured they would do a better job than me since they're "experts." Two days later, while driving down the highway, the hood emblem flew off. So much for the "experts." Now I'm thinking of not replacing the hood emblem since I like the clean lines of the hood without it. Besides, it creates that "mystery car" factor that's so much fun.

That's ridiculous. How could the front emblem come right off? Did they not peel the 3M tape strip off or something?

Obviously they did a poor job. Probably the hood was waxed or dirty.
