  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Huddleston's Build Thread

..

I'll have to look to see what they look like.

Although the pictures do not focus specifically on the engraved caliper covers, there are few snapshots in my "Two upgrades..." thread:

You can very much use any letter font / combination that you like, with any color combination that you may choose. In my case they actually used the "R Spec" emblem GIF to engrave them on a black power coating... :D

Let me know if you would like to know the details of where I got them from.

I'll take an alternate opinion.
I prefer some color and also powder coating the calipers vs covers.
Here was my previous CTS-V in silver. Also another V in gray.

Would like to locate another set of calipers off a G2 that I could send out for powder coating. Don't want to tie up my car on jack stands, pulling mine and waiting to get them back from the powder coater.

I have red on my gt500. They are fine on that application but on the daily driver I prefer something that suits the modification tone of the car. Under the radar so to speak.

Nice V by the way, phenomenal cars.

Thanks for the info. I'll certainly let you know if I decide to go that direction

  • 5 Timer, agree that your old CTS-V looks amazing
  • david, I love the look of those calipers
  • Can someone tell me what BBK means?

When are those exhaust cutouts going in? Can't wait to hear them :D

When you removed your license plate holder there was only 2 holes right? I need to remove my plate holder and then attach the plate straight to the car. I got to talk to a body shop about doing a complete debadge like yours when I get home in 3 weeks. I'm like 99 percent sure I'm doing it now. Everyone thinks I own a Chrysler and it's starting to pissing me off lol.
