Had a lot of people stare...probably because I had blue tape all over the car with a bunch of designs. Including a giant name tag that had my name and the wifey on it. Since I only drive it once a week, I can't really comment too much...

I was out there today, spotting airplanes at O'Hare Int. Airport and there were some new guys in our group, spotting as well and walking around my car, trying to figure it out what kind of Bentley it was! mind you; my car is de-badged now
Finally, they came to me and asked; what do I do for living, that I can afford the Bentley and how much that "thing" cost?

The look on their faces was priceless, when I told them it's a Hyundai Genesis

Love my 2016 3.8AWD, but the voice recognition really sucks. So sick of hearing that bitch tell me she couldn't understand me, roll up my windows, etc etc an try again. WTF is wrong with the program? The WORST voice recognition I have EVER had to deal with. No train up program where it understands way you speak. ANY voice control system has a training section. Have tried EVERYTHING and it only works 1 out of ten times. Using Siri, have no problems at all.

The answer is to use a combinstion of Siri Eyes Free and Bluelink Google Search (though you need to pay for Bluelink - worth it for me) - that combo is virtually flawless!

The Google voice recognition is excellent. It finds locations by name or address and gets it right almost every time.

On a recent trip from Dallas to Door County, WI and back last week I had a half dozen compliments and one guy who walked around it while I was gassing up and I had to tell him it was a Hyundai.

BTW, best road trip car ever.

Nothing but my own observation while at the parking lot of TJ's.

Came across an Ibiza Blue (w/ Ivory interior - fave color combo) parked right next to a late model LS460.

While not particularly enamored w/ the sheetmetal of the 2G Genesis (think it'll look a lot sharper if it gets the front end treatment of the New York concept for its MCE) - have to say, it didn't look out of place next to the LS despite the 2 being in different segments (esp. since the Genesis is close in size to the SWB LS).

Sure, the LS has the nicer interior (it had better starting at more than $30k above the Genesis) - but from the outside, the Genesis did not look any less luxury than the LS (for the MCE, hope the Genesis gets certain interior upgrades).

A couple of weeks ago, some guys pulled next to me at a red light and motioned to roll down my window. They asked what kind of car it was, and thought it was either a Bentley or an Aston Martin. I proudly told them it was a Hyundai Genesis.
