  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hyundai Genesis Sedan reliability - better info ASAP - please sign up

My R-Spec had the engine replaced at 5,000 miles due to cracked rings in cylinder 4 and 8. It now has ~7,000 miles and has been in the shop 4 days in the last week on 3 separate visits (each time "fixed") with a cylinder 5 misfire.

Looks like some more r spec owners need to sign up:

2013 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec 4dr Sedan
Not yet activated--too few owners

We don't separate the R-Spec--we're low on all 2013 Genesis sedans. Only 11 signed up, compared to 69 2012s (and 111 2009s). This often happens when a design is nearing the end of its run. I expect a big bump once the second-gen Genesis arrives.
