  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post your 2015 Genesis Questions Here

As long as the bolt pattern is still 5-114 you should be ok
Also depends on the brakes, etc. There is no 17" wheel for the 2015 Genesis sedan.

As we know, most people are immediately arranging to have the "H" badge removed from the rear and replaced with (what should be standard I might add), the Genesis "wings" emblem.

My question is the remaining 'H' badge under the bonnet.... is this simply stuck on, so removing is a simple unstick and throw away.... OR, does it have the pegs on it, thus leaving two holes in the place where it was??

The 2015 Genesis only has one H on it (the trunk). Hyundai Motor America now sells the 2015 Genesis with the Korean OEM wings on hood (bonnet), wheel rim caps, steering wheel horn/airbag, and keyfob.

Not 100% sure about Canada, but I think it is the same.

Just so I am clear, you are saying this photo (and all others I have seen) are incorrect?

There is no H under the hood??
Sorry, I though you meant the emblem that is on the exterior, which is not actually on the hood (the part that opens) but just below the hood on a fixed part of external sheet metal. That emblem is, or course, a wing in 2015.

I can't tell from that pic what it would take to replace the one in the engine bay.

There probably are some other H's on the car somewhere, such as small ones embedded in the factory glass (as there is in 2009-2014 models).

Guess there is an "H" phobia running around. Take two aspirins and call Hyundai in the morning.

I put wings on my trunk and my wheel hubs, but I still live in shame because my steering wheel airbag still has an H on it (I didn't even bother to cover it with the $20 wing that goes over it).

I'm not sure how you can drive around, let alone live with yourself, knowing the truth. No wonder you don't show your city/state in your ID here.

I usually wear a paper bag over my head.

I'm getting up the courage to open my bonnet to see if there is an "H" lurking there. I may need a few drinks first. Of course, I will wait till dark. I can't use a paper bag. Wife would insist I use plastic.

Look on the left side of the plastic cover over the rear bumper. (The cover is there to protect the bumper from scratches when you load the trunk.). There is a tiny H-- less than a quarter-inch high. At least there is one on the black Genny in my dealer's showroom.
Those H's are everywhere. Stamp them out!

And the glass - holy moly.

Manual says you can’t have the route navigation directions on the main display and HUD at the same time. Tell me it isn’t so somebody. Has any of the new owners noticed this.

The plastic bumper protector is a "port installed" accessory. Not all Genesis have them. Ours did not come with it.

Other "port installed" accessories are the wheels locks and a first aid kit which ours did have but were just sitting in the trunk.

Bull crap, I had both going on my test drive.

For clarification.
I think they’re referring to the display behind the steering wheel.

That is correct, if the HUD is showing your directions it's unavailable on your display between the gauges but it's most definitely showing on the main 9.2" screen.

The heads up display DOES project the Nav turn by turn directions while in guidance mode... and its in color.. Very nicely done Hyundai! I have it in my 2014 Equus Ultimate. I do wish the Equus had the speed limit included in the Heads Up Display like in the 2015 Genesis but rather they included on the left side of the Nav screen. No Biggie.

****The question I have is in regards to the leather used in the 2015 Genesis. I see the Canadian version always lists having "Napa Leather" but the U.S. version always says "Ultra Premium Leather". Is this the same leather or do they use a higher grade of leather for the Canadian Version?
