  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

I am in Austin too. Which dealer did you buy from?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I have been offered a 5.0 Base for $40,680.23. Is this a good deal? I have to put down $4,425 and pay $425/mo, 12k/yr 36/mo for lease.

Should I take this or try to get a better deal? MSRP is $52,705.

Great deal...take it asap

Honestly. any lease you have to put money down on is a lose.

To be clear, I meant that the 40k price is good for the purchase. Not sure if the lease numbers are good or bad, as I have not done a lease...but seem to be in line with the market

Best of luck

Does your out of pocket also include taxes and fees? I feel you have a bit more room on your down payment. Maybe bring it down by another 1-2 k. Or ask for zero down with 480-500$ monthly payment.
The deal you have now is actually pretty good as it stands.

Yes it does include taxes. I am happy with it if you guys are. :)

Some of the rebates that make the price 40K only applies to a lease. If I were to purchase then I would lose out on about 4K in rebates. I am willing to purchase but how can I get it at the same price?

Finance guy told me "Only people who get e-plan cars are Hyundai Corporate employees and those who work at the factory. And with the e-plan Hyundai will NEVER finance it. You have to buy it outright or get your own financing"

Please help me.

Can anyone please post the Lease or Finance rates in Canada? I am not sure how much to negotiate with my dealer in Winnipeg, MB. Need to know if I am getting a good deal or not.

PS: In Canada they don't offer V6 Ultimate. its only available in V8.

Just got a call from a dealer about an hour away and he told me last month he could have sold me his left over '15 ibiza blue in ultimate 5.0 engine for 42k with rebates! I was UGGGH The dealer I was at wouldnt move much below 46k on a 3.8 ibiza blue..../facepalm. I would have bought it for 42k I told him. I said if they get those coupons again from Hyundai next month, call me and I'll take it. haha Oh well, things always work out for a reason! Its that or were getting the Tech package in White.

One of the dealers in Seattle area apparently also ran $12k off rebate. Of course, by the time I called they ran out of all the coupons.

Ad says it expires on 2/1/2016 but of course it's still on their website.

Which dealer in Seattle area? I got mine from there too...thus curious

The dealer here has an 5.0 loaded just below ultimate, for $38k. And a 3.8 for $32k one step below ultimate. Temping....haha.

I know the car's depreciate on the lot now that we are in 2016, but dayum!! That's some serious discounting there... :)

I am having a tough time getting the DC area dealers to match the other prices. The lowest I got was 42 for 3.8 RWD Ultimate and 38 for 3.8 RWD Tech.

If anybody has had any luck with dealers in 500 mile radius please let me know. Looking for 3.8 RWD tech or ultimate for around 34 to 38
