  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

~$40K for an AWD Ultimate is a very good price. That's closet to what I paid for my 3.8 AWD Signature in November. I'm not sorry I pulled the trigger then (3yr lease) but I know I could have bought for about the same payment now.

I have seen that the Lease Deals are not available on the 2015s now, and the choices will decline as these deals get snapped up. I'd not wait too long.

cars.com is starting to show a lot of these 15 AWD Ultimates going for $40K now. I had been looking at these from some Houston dealerships and having them ship it to me as shipping prices are cheap with gas prices so low and the color choices were more abundant. They seemed to be the first advertising the $40K 15 AWD Ultimate. (South Loop and Sterling McCall in Houston).

With at least 5 Ibiza Blues within 70 miles of me it's really a buyers market. I have an offer in to one of the dealerships who has been most responsive to me. The closest dealer to me still has them at $45K. Their salesman who was trying to sell me a used base AWD with 12K miles for $30K a month ago was calling and texting me non-stop without giving me a very competitive price. I called him back and said he had to start sub $40K on their Ibiza Ultimate and then we would talk. Haven't heard from him.

When I sign on the dotted line I'll post back with the particulars.

for clarification purposes, What is the main difference between Hyundais Certificated vehicles vs just USED vehicles? Except for the financing part. I see that the used ones go for a little less.

I got a 2015 Ibiza blue ultimate package for $320/month with $4k down. This includes the insurance plan or warranty which covers dents, scratches, spills and they even added unlimited oil changes AND tires. I Only have to pay for gas and whenever I need my brakes changed. It's a $53K car and with the incentives and my down payment and also it had a clearance price my total came to about $39k. I got this amazing deal on 2-27-2016.

Did you buy or lease your Genny?

Thanks, So in other words the USED ones do not come with a warranty? Or will the warranty be there but only for how ever many years left from the original purchase of the car?

yes.

It's a 3 year lease but will probably buy afterwards

Nice price!

I just barely got quoted $358/Month +taxes for a Tech package with 2k down... /=

I picked up an Empire State/Black 3.8 AWD Ultimate on 2-23-2016 from Broken Arrow, OK for $38,183

It was the regional managers demo with 1,800 miles ... Didn't bother me for that price + they threw in wheel locks, tint, and a Genesis badge + Genesis license plate holder. No TTL since I did it in my home state (which cost me a whopping $39!)

Obviously, pretty stoked with that deal!

Can't really evaluate a lease deal without specific info:
Lease term and allowed mileage
MSRP
Capitalized cost
Money factor
Residual
Drive-offs

There is no such thing as a down payment on a lease, as you are renting the car. So any customer cash goes up in smoke if the car is totaled. Drive-offs usually include first payment, acquisition fee, DMV and document fee.

That said, it sure sounds like a killer deal!!

It's a demo with 4400 miles on ODO..... 2015 5.0 Empire State Gray (pretty fast color too! :D ), got the price down to $38.722 before taxes.

What you guys think? should I go for it? yes, no? :D

Damn. Wife is going to be pissed at me tonight......or not? :D

I just got a new 2015 5.0 , 25 miles, for 38500 before tt&l

I've been looking at the 2016 model (all 3.8 of course), but the prospect of a leftover 5.0 is intriguing.

Pricing on 2015 leftovers is varying widely based on availability of excess inventory. In san jose, at capital hyundai, they have one 2015 v8 left, and it's about 44k (advt at 47k) for 52k MSRP. So, IMHO, anything below 39k for new or demo is a steal.

Done deal :D
