If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Prices paid to lease 2015 Genesis?

thanks, my current lease ends in Oct, and I've been talking to local Hyundai dealers and they just laugh, I've been searching, and I've seen Infiniti's, BMW, and some Audi's that are right around that price range to take over a lease from other people, if they don't budge soon, I may just go for that....kinda sad that the professionalism is not there at the Hyundai dealerships.

Yeah - I had a heck of a time getting the dealers to treat my deal seriously and actually want my business. The funny part is that most of them called be back months after asking if we could look at the numbers again. The truth is, they can get you you a awesome number, just have to be able to play their game.

Ya, it's a base 5.0. Casblanca white. Like I said it was a 'semi-used' service loaner so that's what is probably giving me a more beneficial buyout.

Generally, Hyundai leases are on "new" cars and the residual is fixed. Maybe the dealer worked something out - how many miles were on the car?

Thanks db6..... kinda running out of patience with these guys...same issue I had with Kia, before I got the car I drive now. They try to price themselves equal to or higher than comparable german cars...which is weird... one sales manager tried to belittle me by offering 588/m for lease and I told him, at that price I can get a loaded 3 series or 5 series, and he comes at me with, 'you think BMW is better than a Hyundai', idiot didn't did know I've owned several bmw's, when I said 'yes' they are because I have had several of them, he shut up....not really professional...

Hello Everyone,
I am now here. I just leased my Genesis back in July.
The car I got was 3.8 RWD w/ tech package MSRP $46705.
The deal I got was $0 out of pocket, dealer pays first month payment, $399 including socal tax with 15K miles/yr

That's pretty good LJ7006.... may I ask which dealer in socal?

Also are the lease deals better on the 5.0 ultimate than on the 3.8 AWD ultimate?

that's a good deal. beat my deal by a long shot. best deal i have seen.

I paid $2000 down including inception and $440 month including tax. 36 months @ 15k miles for my 2015 Genesis 3.6 Ultimate package.

Awesome deal. Are you also in Cali or on the East coast?

I paid $2000 down including inception and $440 month including tax. 36 months @ 15k miles for my 2015 Genesis 3.6 Ultimate package.

I'm in the market to lease a 2015 Genesis 3.6 Ultimate. I'm not quite sure if I want the RWD or AWD. So far, I have this quote from a huge dealership in NY:

2015 Genesis 3.6 Ultimate AWD
- $6,888 down-payment (includes taxes, registration and 1st payment)
- $430 per month
- 36 month lease @ 12k miles
- $50,888 sale price

I don't feel this a good deal. Am I correct?

Any strategies on finding dealer cost so I can negotiate from a position of knowledge?

My ultimate goal is to purchase the 2018 Genesis 3.6 Ultimate AWD if, in fact, it comes out with better gas mileage and a turbo charger.

Correct, a bad deal - the sale price has almost no discount. Also the large down payment on a lease is not a good idea. Keep shopping.

Thanks Ksoze. Confirms I'm not crazy. I'd be crazy to take this deal. I'm thinking that $1,500k down and $370/mo is a fair starting point.

Use Truecar as the beginning of a negotiation.
You normally would get something better.
Also remember that Truecar figures are before incentives unless you click the incentives button and pick the ones applicabe to you.
Good luck!

You absolutely would be crazy to take that offer. However, you should probably adjust your expectations. You are going to be seriously offended when they come back with an off of $575 to $580.

Thanks bball4012. I won't be offended. The dealer tries to make money. The customer tries to save money. Doesn't hurt to try.

Dr.Trxu's offer sounds great to me (I'm assuming his is RWD):
- 2015 Genesis 3.6 Ultimate
- $2,000 down including inception
- $440 /month including tax.

I wonder what the selling price is to get that lease deal. Anyone know the MF for September?

First post here and two-months into my 2015 3.8 RWD lease.
I signed a 48 mo lease with $2800 trade in. Totaling just under 480 a month right now (first months payment was rolled into all 48 payments, upping the cost roughly 25 a mo.)

Total value of mine comes to 43,593.00. Includes Tint, Appearance Package, Zaktek, wing emblems and splash guards.

I think I could have pushed for a better deal, but I'm pretty happy with my current situation. Looking forward to adding fog lights/upgrading audio :)

I have the AWD tech.

In March I leased and I paid:

$3050 down (first month, DMV, tax, doc fee, aqu fee)
$420/month

36 month. 12k/year.

gmalo, did that deal take lots of negotiations, lots of walk aways? What state are you in? I'm working with a very large dealership in NY and it's like pulling teeth. They're offering your deal but it's on a Signature, RWD model.

Ok friends. I'm looking at these offers now. Think they're fair?

2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 RWD Signature
- $3,000 down (1st payment and fees)
- $412.35 / month @ 36 mos.
- 12k miles / yr

-- or --

2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 RWD Signature
- $2,000 down (1st payment and fees)
- $468 / month @ 36 mos.
- 15k miles / yr

I'd love to have this model in the Ultimate Package, but can't seem to get my dealer up there without a ridiculous hike in price.
