Finally updated to v1.8 and works on par with the Kia UVO and takes you right to remote services screen.

I noticed that last night, it surprised me a bit that I was taken to the remote services screen. The app is definitely getting faster at logging in as well, I've been logged in within about 5 seconds or so the last few times I opened the app.

The faster login is placebo or the fact that it is a fresh install. UVO got this as a v1.7 update and they are now v1.8 for more than a week. Genesis skipped v1.7 and went right to v1.8. I think at this point, our limitation is 3G and maybe the servers itself.

Definitely not placebo, I have noticed that with each iteration of the app the logins are getting faster. When I first got the car a few months ago the logins could take in the range of 15 seconds. An app update later it was down to 10 seconds, and now it's even faster than that. Perhaps time of day that I'm checking the app factors in with less server traffic.

Maybe or I'm just used to it being slow that 5 secs isn't making a difference. But the fact that you skip 2 steps to start the engine is already huge!

Nice improvement. Now just auto lock the doors on engine start of they aren't already
