Hyundai Motor America conducts periodic recalls based on trends or safety concerns that are recognized by customers or service technicians at our dealerships. These recalls are put into place to ensure the safety and quality of our vehicles and the continued satisfaction of our customers. Due to the manufacturing process, typically only a small percentage of vehicles in a given model year or model type will be affected. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified of any recalls via certified mail and by notifications on their MyHyundai account.
Hyundai is aware of a small number of customer comments about the tires on the 2015 Genesis. Specifically, some customers have mentioned slight tire noise and vibration which may be amplified by road conditions. As a result, we have changed the Hankook Noble2 factory installed tires to 19-inch Continental ProContact tires (5.0L) or 18-inch Michelin Primacy MXM4 (3.8L). To ensure our customer?s satisfaction, we will replace existing Hankook Noble2 tires with the 19-inch Continental ProContact tires (5.0L) or 18-inch Michelin Primacy MXM4 (3.8L) at no cost. Our offer for replacement is available for the next three years through March of 2018. We hope this information is sufficient to your question.
