I have been fortunate in not having any rattles or squeaks over 2 1/2 yrs....
except the overhead console.
There was a very annoying low level buzzing vibration sound that I could silence by pressing around the right side lamp housing. But it was difficult to drive with one hand pushing on the overhead console.
So after removing the console, I examined it carefully, looking for a loose screw or possibly two surfaces that could vibrate together under the right harmonics. I
completely disassembled the housing and found only one issue. The right side metal retainer clip that holds the console inside the headliner would wobble sideways and up and down inside its plastic housing because the tangs on the metal clip were not bent out sufficiently to hold it tight.
The fix required removing the retainer clip from the molded plastic tower it was pressed down into, bending the tangs further outward so that they would take more of a bite into the tower - thus eliminating any movement or vibration.
*Note -
this metal clip is not really designed to be removed after initial factory assembly of the overhead console. The metal clip is spring steel and tangs are meant to bite into the plastic securely and permanently.
It did require removing the circuit board and its cover so that proper access could be gained to dislodge the clip. It was meticulous and required patience, but success was my reward. No more annoying vibration. All is quiet inside.
Why not let the dealer fix it under warranty? Well... the challenge of fixing it myself.
And avoiding the aggravation of convincing the dealer that this minute problem needed repair.
(my local dealer looks for ways to avoid doing the right thing)
So is this the same problem that some other owners are experiencing? No idea.
I just know that I no longer have this vibration and I'm passing on what I did to correct it.
Here are a few photos that may better show what I was describing.
