  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Was @ our Exclusive Genesis Dealer in Calgary today
& saw the Delivery Trailer from Ontario in the parking lot.
2nd picture is my Ibiza Blue 2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 H-trac Luxury next to a 2018 Genesis G80 Sport in Mallorca Blue.
I think I like my colour better.
What do you guys think?

Agree, I like yours better. Blue is my favorite color but would not buy the Mallorca. Mine is Adriatic, closer to yours.

Yes it is, I don't wanna know how much my friend paid for that.

A little melancholy about this one. My latest:

My new 2015 Genesis 5.0.

I am charging the battery since it seems a bit low.

The battery is in the front? I thought the battery was in the trunk.
Like mentioned above, there are battery terminal connectors under the hood for jump starting the car. Positive post in the fuse box and a negative post under a cap on the same side just forward of the fuse box. The terminals also work for battery chargers.

Is it possible to jump the car from the trunk? I bought one of those portable battery jumpers last year for my old car, and stashed it in the trunk between the spare and the battery. Figured if I needed it, it would be easier just to hook it up back there.

Got some decent phone pix today...

Sure, but it depends on how much stuff you have in the trunk. When I had a flat tire on vacation with the trunk filled, it was far easier to have the tire filled with air and drive to a shop to repair it.

Yes. You can just attach the jumper cables directly to the battery in the trunk. In my opinion it would be the best method if you use a battery jump pack since there would be less resistance to current flow.

I would think that trying to use a portable jump pack on the front terminals would require more current(distance from battery) and make the unit less effective. Not good in an emergency situation where you would not be able to recharge the pack.
