everything has been real quiet for about 6 months. you would think they would be doing something good.

I wanted to say sorry to everyone on here for our lack of involvement as of late. With the racing season in full swing we had to put the GC on hold so we can devote all of our efforts to completing our EVO X time attack race car.

As you see we have been busy:

now that we have that out of the way and racing is in full swing Ivan can devote more time to his pride and joy the GC. We have been working diligently on the IC, Turbo kit, exhaust etc. So not to worry we are here to stay!
 
well thank god i did not buy one of these things! i guss i will have to wait till people have time to make after market parts.
 
who in the hell thinks they have the right to add stuff to my name description? this whole forum is one big joke
 
i'm going to be buying a genesis coupe when the next year model comes out so that all the kinks in the first year model are corrected. i have to admit that i'm very impressed by AMS's progress and am excited to be a part of this forum. Keep up the good work AMS. i bet after tuning along with increasing the boost and the prototype parts, we're going to start seeing some serious power. Hooray :D
 
well, if AMS doesn't have time for this car, why should i !?!?

I am very sorry for the delay guys but summer time is a busy time at the shop here. We campaign a full race team so that takes up a great deal of our time. Ivan has been ticking away at it lately with some new exhaust ideas that we are working on. We have a turbo manifold being casted to build a full turbo kit with the car. We don't just work on the genesis so we have to make sure ALL of our customers are being taken care of. The second I get some more updates I will stop on in here but as of right now things are just moving a little slow.

Why is everyone so hell bent on the 2.0T. The real power will come from the V6! Look back at the import cars most people drool over and it would be mostly V6's. So why can we band together and get these companies to make a turbo kit and parts for the V6's like is out there for a Supra, Skyline, 350Z, RX-7, Or even what some people have done like EIP with a GTI or others have done with all versions of the M3! The power is out there we just have to demand it! Im stuck in Germany right now not near a good shop or I would. I dont want to hear how some 2.0T just be some V6. Yeah its cool dont get me wrong but wouldnt you like to hear how some Genesis Coupe of any kind just beat a fully modded Supra or Viper, well any car that is in another leage with out mods????
 
Tell me what that most companies I see are so hung up on the 2.0T that there is very few parts for the V6 well not enough to brag about! I mean come on I could go out and custom build a turbo kit for a 10 second Supra or I could buy a full bolt on race kit with pistons and all for the motor! Why the hell with all im reading I see nothing about that. If you ask me most of you Genesis owners dont care about big Hp or 1/4 mile times cuz most hondas with a motor swap can be your turbo Genesis coupe and I want something more!!! Forgive me if Im being rude I just want the speed and power!
 
I don't remember what aftermarket company it was but they said that they found that Hyundai squeezed out just about all the HP on the V6 and that only few hp here and there can be found, without going to major upgrades like turbos and SCs.

On factory turbo cars, the engine is detuned to allow for the turbo and be safe (same with most stock turbo cars). Making parts to "free up" and push the HP would be easier, less expensive, and less time consuming because it's already designed to have the turbo power components. Instead of having to redesign many parts just to find the room for the big power components.

Well, that is my understanding from having a WRX and learning about them for a few years.

Anyways, I believe Road Race Motorsports is the company that is doing the most with the 3.8 but they haven't gotten to the big power components. Just freeing up whatever they can. They have exhaust, fuel and timing modules, pulleys, and some other things I can't remember.
 
Well that is what im looking for the big Hp gain with a turbo kit! I want to work on the motor and all! Its called go big or go home! Atleast that is what I thought!!!

Because it is basically the same engine found under the hood of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. It has a lot of potential..it's good for up to 300hp without much blood, sweat, and tears. That is why everyone is so hell bent on the 2.0T.
 
That maybe but with the same parts on a V6 it would still out power the 2.0T
Plus its weak compaired to other factory turbo cars damn it should atleast be able to beat the srt4. I wish they would make a TTV6 like the supra was that would be bad ass! None of this dummy down a motor!!!
 
The supra is not a TTV6, Neither is a Skyline R32,R33,R34....

The only car out there with a TTV6 you may be thinking of is a 300ZX.
 
Were the hell have you been the RB26 found in a Skyline is TTV6, and the
2JZ is TT Hell so is the 3000GT VR6 is also TT!!! Learn your cars before you post!
