In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The OFFICIAL Air Suspension Thread

So turns out AirREX does have a kit for the Genesis sedan as well. I'm trying to get pics of it and will post if I do. I was told retail is $2350.00.

Big price difference from Air Force Suspensions. I ran my AirREX for 2 years and for more than half of that time I commuted 300 miles a week for work with zero issues so I'm very partial towards going with them.

Those who are running AF's what are your thoughts so far with your kits. What was your impression out of the box and then as far as the ride quality?

Very neat to see more options popping up, at first I was concerned there was nothing lol.

Slight update. Got the false floor done, tougher than i thought it would be. Still not sure what finish i want to do on the floor. Carpet, wood, etc. Xiaphin was right, mounting to the trunk lid does seem a bit tough. Ill probably mount it to the floor for now until i get it figured out. Luckily i was at home depot getting a few things and ran across this 18" round wood piece and it fit perfectly in the trunk so everything can be hidden and stock 18" wheel used as a spare. Im just waiting on some fittings to come in today and hopefully ill at least get the rear bags in. Wiring took me way longer than i expected. Coming from a car audio background, i tend to get a go back and forth with plans on how i want things run. Heres a quick pic of the trunk thus far.

Looks like you went with half inch MDF and a similar trunk floor to mine. How is the rear of your false floor done? Good idea with the wood cover over the spare. If it is sitting on the spare where are you going to keep your factory jack etc?

Wiring turned out to take longer than I had anticipated as well. In for more updates.

Never had a car on air but ride quality is better than stock and better than any coils I have ran before. Quality of the components seems to be good but only time will tell how the shocks and bags hold up. Interested in seeing what the AirRex kit looks like. FWIW I got my AF bags for $1690 shipped.

Yeah, pretty much same as every other false floor. I searched for new and different stuff but I guess nothing has really changed as far as false floors. Well the spare is actually going to sit over that wood piece. Im not sure what i'll do with the jack, I never really carried one before. Just a torque wrench and sockets to fit my lugnuts, I guess i'll use AAA. Xiaphin, do you know the length of your front and rear elevel arms? im gonna use the same spot and figured I'd ask:D

Just a heads up to those considering AF bags... I've been waiting since October for mine and was told earlier this week that they got a bad shipment of bags that has gotten them really backed up on orders. :/

Don't remember the lengths of the arms off the top of my head but I can measure them sometime for you.

Sorry to hear that man. I waited over three months for mine without any QC issues. Keep us updated.

That would be greatly appreciated.

Small update...

Went to do the front and the megan coilovers wont work. What I had to do was buy a strut cartridge from a 350z. Megan went out of their way to help me out. For the forjworks brackets to work, the top hardware of the coilover has to be removed and the piston should just all thread. The one for the genesis has an additional threaded piece with the side damper. My new strut cartridge will have top damper which they should have just come that way. Should have the fronts done this weekend or next week. Here go pics of the top of a genesis megan coilover and what the top should look like for forjworks brackets to fit.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Glad to hear the Megan has been working with you but hate to hear that the front's didn't bolt up as planned. In for the installed pictures.

Haven't forgotten about measuring the rod length, I have been sick this past week. I'll send over some measurements this week.

I have never heard of D2 suspensions.

Hmmm, well D2 is another coilover maker similar to megan and bc racing. Looks like they just made a bag over coil similar to airrex and accuair. If it was my money id go with the reputable company, especially if its an all in one sleeve bag type strut. They aren't all built the same by any means. One positive is it comes with an OB2 compressor, they are the shit!!!

Yeah, they were really helpful. I'll definitely take some pics of the setup once i get the struts today. Yeah, no worries, just send the measurements when you can take them. Im under the weather myself.

D2 Air Suspension

D2 has been out for a while just like K-Sport. Many users on other forums say they are the same. Images and component listings on that website look like a rebadged air force suspension system. According to their website, http://www.d2racing.com/air-suspension/basic/#listing they do offer a kit but no price listed which would tell me they have most likely never sold one.

Do a quick google search and you can read all about them.

James Vipdout Prada Genesis - Enjoy

For those of you who don't visit VIPstyleCars, James posted new photos and a very nice video of his Prada Genesis. He has been in the VIP car scene for a long time. Link to the video and forum post below. Fitment is almost spot on at 20x9.5+25 and 20x10.5+25. He says the rears slightly rubs with each drop once tucked and the front could use a small spacer. Enjoy.

Yes. James car is super nice!!! I'd love to do a prada but the headlights alone are retarded expensive

alright, thanks for the links. yeah, im just seening if there is anymore options i looked into accuair and total price with all the parts and managment it would be like four thousand dollars and shipping and all that good stuff. those prada headlights are like 1500 bucks!! i was looking around the forum and people are having a hard time trying to make the auto leveling connect with the prada headlight unit. its not compatiable or something in that manner.

Some more pics...

Looking good. How's clearance of the bag up front inside the suspension? Measuring those rods tonight for you while I measure some other suspension items.

Thanks. Clearance was good. I know i was worried about it for sure. On the back side there is about a little less than half an inch. Everything else is wide open. Sweet, i plan on doing the sensors tomorrow so that will work with getting those measurements.

Got the lengths of the arms last night when measuring for my new wheels. Measurement is from rod eye to rod eye.

Front - 152mm
Rear - 75mm

The lengths greatly vary but there was only really one good place to mount the sensors in the front and rear. If you need anything else let me know. I would like to see pictures of the rest of install. Noticed the bright green techflex on your airline, you cover it all the way back to the trunk or just the exposed parts?
