  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Things you love about the G70

one thing i dont necessarily like or dislike is the message that tells you that you should take a break and it has a picture of a coffee cup. surprised me when it first came on.
I only had it pop up once. It was right too, I did stop for a needed break and stretch.

I wish the manual was more descriptive for what it considers innatentive driving. For instance, I just finished a workout, so was pretty keyed up, and the thing was going off every 3-5 minutes on my way home.

Other times, when I'm going into work at 5am and having trouble keeping my eyes open, the thing never makes a sound.

Go figure.

If yours is the same as the G80 you can display the bar on the screen and see where you are rated. That may give you an idea of what you are doing to trip it. Of course, at 5 AM you may not be too interested. The LKAS is a factor, aside from that, I'm not sure.

I love the Oil tempreture gauge because it's important to know when the car has reached operating tempreture

The steering feels like your moving the whole car as one unit with rear wheels

AAfter 10,000 km the suspension and seats get broken in properly and ride becomes much more comfortable.

It's possible to get more than 30 mpg in the highway

The hood is aluminum and the 3.3 get an LSD as standard compared to the stinger

Free service and price.

Oh, and doesn't the hood resemble the Genesis coup?

Had lunch with a customer and some coworkers the other day. After leaving we were standing outside wrapping up our conversation and I saw this truck pull up near my car. The guy driving it was eyeing it like no tomorrow, even to the point that he drove by, stopped, and then hung his head out the window looking back.

Been there!

Still exploring features but my favorite at the moment is when I put it in sport mode, my seat bolsters give me a hug. I feel like the car's almost saying go on buddy- i got you lol.

Yeah! I was just thinking about this the other day. Definitely a unique feature we've got on the G70 which I think is really cool.

I usually put it in custom mode, which is set the same as sport but with softer suspension, because I like the purple lol

+1

I'd actually forgotten the car did this as the setting wasn't enabled when I got the car from the dealership. But when I was exploring the menu options, I saw this setting and enabled it, and when I put it into Sport mode, I must have had a huge grin on my face :)

Same here. I find the blank black background a little boring, and like the look of the purple best.

To bad the colours weren't customizeable for whatever setting you wanted. Seems like an easy thing to program in for a future update (hint).

I've never had a heated steering wheel before. I have gotten used to it the last couple weeks and have to say its a really nice feature when its cold out. Speaking of heat this car blows heat really quickly after starting it up when cold. No other car I've had heated up this quickly. Am I imagining this or does anyone else notice this?

^ most definitely does. AC kicks in pretty quickly as well when very hot out.

I did a remote start this week, temperature mid forties, and set inside temperature to 72º and after six or seven minutes I entered the car and it was not as warm as I anticipated, though blowing warm air.

Set the temp higher. It'll blow a consistent 72 for that 6-7 min, but it likely won't reach 72 in that time as it has to overcome all the cold air. Opening the door will also let out a good bit of heat. Once you're in the car, you can set it back down to 72.
