  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Owners: What vehicle did your Genesis replace?

2013 Audi A7 !

I had a 2002 Mercedes E320 4Matic which I purchased off lease in 2002 for $32,000 with 52,000 miles on her. What a great car. I put 200,000 on it but sadly towards the final years it was nickle & diming me to death. So in Jan 2018 I purchase a 2017 Genesis G80 prem package pre owned for $36,500 OTD $40,000. It had 15,000 miles on her. One major problem which was covered under warranty was transmission 2nd to 3rd failure @ 32,000. Other then that it has been a great car so far except for the creaky panoramic sunroof...

2013 Mustang Premium Convertible, 70K miles.

Traded a 2013 Genesis 3.8 RWD for a 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD.

I just replaced a Ford Fusion titanium lease, but before that I have owned several Hyundai’s - Genesis Coupe 3.8, Sonata, and Elantra, and all were great cars.

2015 BMW 328xi M Sport which was my 6th 3 series, I've also purchased 2 others for my daughter and my wife is on her 3rd BMW, 2 X3s and an X5. The G70 is the first car that made me want to buy something other than a 3 Series in the last 25 years.

Replaced: 2018 Camaro SS 1LE for 2019 G70 RWD 3.3T Sport. Wanted a bit more luxury and a more usable back seat. First Hyundai vehicle. I usually only buy American, but have had a SLK 32 AMG and Infiniti G35 coupe.

2005 Ford Thunderbird, modified & customized. Life is taking a new route...

I had a 2015 BMW X3 xdrive35i. It was a great driving SAV but I wanted get back into a sedan. Might change my mind after the new Genesis SUV comes out.

If I can make get a deal, it would be replacing a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. We've had a combination of SUV's and Pick-Up's for the last 20 years, this would be the first car we've owned since a 1998 Honda Accord.

I could never be without a pickup. I enjoy the outdoors too much and haul yard supplies nearly every weekend. If I didnt have the option for an extra vehicle, it would have to be my truck.
