I wish I had the option of moving the HUD display a little bit to the left...maybe it's the way I sit but when the Navigation is on the far right side is cutoff so I have to move to the left to see it.

Wish the Bluetooth had SMS reading/sending

Anyone know how to turn off the side mirrors from opening every time I walk by the car? Gets kind of annoying if I am hanging out in the garage with the keys in my pocket. I don't want to lose the ability for them to automatically fold when I lock the door, but can I change the setting to unfold only when I unlock the car and not just walk by??

- other than those minor things, I love my new car!

I haven't tried this yet, but will try it later on when I get home. Have you tried to leave it on the "unfold" option instead of auto?

I don't like the way the rear cross traffic alert shows the direction of the oncoming car in the display area in the cluster. My 2015 shows this in the NAV display so it is much easier to see.

So I tried out leaving it in the unfold option instead of auto, and when I locked my car, the sideview mirrors did not fold.

As for wanting to change the setting to unfold when not walking by when they are folded, you might want to try just setting it to the fold option before turning off your car, and then locking it.

Any feedback on the iPod connectivity and starting up on first song each time?

I have an iPod Classic 80GB and dislike two things: it starts at the first song alphabetically each time ("Abacab" - Genesis) and having to change default to shuffle each time. Is it the older iPod that is the issue?

Yea I have the same issue with myiPod Classic. My previous car, the Q50 always remembered where I left off, but I also always had to change default to shuffle each time.

I wonder if it is "Classic" specific issue - i thought I had seen posts from those with newer iPods that do not have the issue. I also have had it freeze up a few times - the screen shows one song and it is playing others and then locks up.

+1 for me too. It just happened to me yesterday on my way home from work. It was showing a different song on the navigation screen, but playing a different song, and I couldn't skip songs either.

Maybe someone with a newer iPod can pipe in. I would prefer to play uncompressed music on an iPod rather than have to only upload 320kbps files on the jukebox or on USB stick.

Try playing music through your bluetooth. If it too sounds distorted, you might have a problem. I had a problem with my BT and had to have my head-unit replaced.

Spent last two days on trip listening to streaming bluetooth. Sound is very sensitive to phone position, works best when phone is above passenger visor, can cut out if in lap or covered by hand.

Yes you can. I believe it is under setup-navigation but I don't recall how to get there.

I see no negative in being warned of "curve ahead". I don't find it to be consistent, however. I go around one curve with no no warning and get one for the next. Both appeared to be equally sharp.

I do believe it is dependent upon your speed. I have noticed this as well but found that if I get on it going into the same curve, I get the warning. I am glad it is there for those times your in unfamiliar territory.

Thanks for the quick advice, all. I'm with allagaroo. I would welcome a reliable and consistent warning, but she says "curve ahead" at random times. Yes, there's always a curve ahead, but I'll get the alert sometimes when I'm driving relatively slowly and the curve is gentle. Then I won't get it when I'm driving faster and the curve is sharper. Small thing. The car is magnificent.

Hate having to turn eco and stop hold on every time. The smart app takes 5 minutes to start a car. Also can't find the car if you are more than a mile away. Wish tech package had fog lights.

It's a lot of car for $43k.

I second that on eco, Why can the eco once set stay on until you switch it off on the Sonata but not on the G2?

I'd like if you could default to your selected mode and be able to vary it based on your current preference. If not Normal default doesn't bother me. Just know if I want to go into sport, eco or snow I need to do it whenever I start the car. It's simple enough to do.

• GPS location when driving in my town will lose lock on the road and seem to travel in a random direction.
• Blind spot system is super sensitive and sees cars at intersections or trees as you pass them
• Sunroof seal issues...wtf
