  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

So I asked regarding release date tonight and the answer was only Spring. No more specific than that.

If you like how this car looks on paper, don't cave. It's even better in person.

P.S. Winged emblems on front of car, steering wheel and wheels. Hyundai H on trunk lid.

Flying Wing Emblem on hood, on steering wheel and on the wheels. Hyundai H on trunk lid. This is direct from Live Chat with Hyundai Thinktank tonight

There is a Flying Wing hood emblem but the trunk is still the Hyundai "H" I have to honest, I didn't pay attention to the wheel and steering wheel emblems closely enough to recall. We may want the "snooty" factor but they are in the midst of brand building and they want people to know you're driving a Hyundai.

There is still a power rear sunshade and manual side shades for the rear seats.

I didn't pay attention to the ashtray but I hope its there. I keep toothpicks in it. :-)

Haha...Dan, you're taking some gas....Actually the current models Retractable steering wheel is fine but my 2011 stopped operating and had to be replaced. I think Dan is suffering the same issue. Good luck on that brother.

As I mentioned to someone else, Hyundai operates the Hyundai Thinktank and if you join there are some great opportunities to learn more and even allows your input to the engineers. I want to assure you that Hyundai is listening and they really care.

This was in one of the blue-link preview pics on The Korean Car Blog. Notice the carbon-fiberish dash. That wasn't on any of the KDM's from what I saw.

Is it possible that the Carbon Fiber model is the RSPEC?

LOL.... coffee shops in Seattle. That list would be huge !!

Wonder if the Remote start temperature features can/will be integrated into the 09-13 Genesis?

I wouldn't mind if this were an option, but I sure hope this isn't the only option for the R-Spec. I don't mind the carbon fiber dash section, but I think it really clashes with the pattern on the center stack and would really bother me over time.

Doubtful. I don't know much about the outgoing system, but I assume it is Java on the vehicles back-end while the incoming appears to be Android. That would mean coding it twice if true.

It's also one more reason to get a '15 that they would take away by adding it retroactively to the outgoing model.

Since Hyundai has already given me a ridealong in a camouflaged 2015 Genesis and I've seen three of them, two under camouflage and another one at Hyundai US HQ that they uncovvered for us at a Hyundai Thinktank event, I have to say yes, at least three of them are here not counting Auto Show cars.

There are obviously a couple in the US for auto shows, etc, but none expected at dealers until 2nd Quarter of 2014.

My local dealer has already confirmed for me that 2015's will be arriving at dealer's in about 6 months or less.

Nice, thank you.

I guess no LED turn signal in US version.

I don't know about the 2015, but previous versions of Genesis were tested at the Hyundai Research and Test facility in Southern California, and they also did the US suspension tuning there. The US suspension for the Genesis has been different than KDM versions, and I am not just talking about the optional air suspension on the KDM versions for 2009-2014. So not surprised that there are some 2015's around there or at corporate HQ. But the ones for dealers have not arrived yet.
