  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any lowering springs for 2015 Genesis sedan?

Seeing these (might I add very nicely done Genesis Sedans), is it safe to assume that Ark gives a tad more of a drop than Storm? Also, anyone have pics of DH sedans lowered on non-OEM 19s? Thanks!

it depends on what style of ARK springs you go with I think. Or maybe they only offer one set now and are working on another. I have storm and am very happy.

Yea right now ARK only offers the GT-S line which is the more aggressive drop. They are about 1/4" ish more drop that the Storm springs. They are still smooth but you can notice that they are a tad stiffer than stock. I like them.

Just ordered my Ark springs. I picked up a gig working at a huge hot rod show down here last weekend, so I figure it'd be a shame if the cash earned didn't go to car parts...

Car on ARK Lowering Springs recently installed.

^^Your car is perfection. Pretty much solidified my decision to stop searching for coilovers and go with Ark springs.

So close...

i'm confused as to why your having clearance issues with the stock wheels after lowering? Am i missing something else that you might have did?

Does the 3.8 have 18" wheels? Could that be why?

ordered the ARKs on last fri, will be installed this fri...cant wait!

Oh I was having caliper clearance with the new 20" wheels. I had less than 1mm clearance with cold calipers. Then I posted a picture of the factory 18" wheels and they have almost 3mm. I was just showing that the factory wheels are very close to the calipers. I just put 3mm spacer upfront and I have plenty of clearance now.

that looks perfect.. plus its still going to settle some ...

Looks good. After my car settled, it dropped about 1/4" more. I have a v6, so you front might settle down more with the v8 upfront.

I'd be pretty happy with that - looks good! Trying to get mine installed in the next week or so.

Ran into a slight problem. Seems no one in my area can lift my car on car stands because it sits low now.I will find out Friday if the local Hyundai can lift it on their stands.

Wtf? My car is pretty dumped and I have no issues getting a jack under it. Ive got a 3ton low profile jack. Seems strange no one in ur area has one

Yea, I have no problems. I can jack it up and even my friends lift was able to raise my car the other day. My friends lower Z06 we drive up on 2" x 10"s when we have to jack it up.

Installed! Ark springs with stock 18s.

Not sure why Photobucket always resizes so small, but click the image, then the magnifying glass to enlarge.

Now who wants to donate some wheels...
