Has anyone yet verified that they will fit the 2012 calipers?
Never mind, I am calling in the morning to find out and then put in my order.
Have never tinted windows before, and am thinking the contrast with the white body would be great.

Need some help. MGP is asking if anyone who live in San Diego area that owns a 2012 RSpec sedan that is willing to help them develop the caliper cover, please contact them.

I personally don't know of anyone who has this model. My brother just purchased a '12 4.6 and loves it. I tried to get him to go with the R-Spec but he wouldn't spring for it. Anyone who may live in the San Diego area and wishes to have their R-Spec used as a prototype for the caliper covers should know that their car will be provided with the covers (including installation) at no cost to them. The only stipulation is that you will get either the red, black or silver ones with the MGP engraving. If you want a custom color or engraving, you will have to pay that cost. That's what I did. Hopefully someone will step up to the plate and volunteer their monster car.

Also, someone needs to tell them that 2012 V8's have bigger calipers than 2009-2011 and that those same brakes are now standard on 2012 V6.

Spoke to Ben at MGP and he confirmed that the 2012 18" calipers are larger than their predecessors. They are working on getting a 2012 into the shop to work one up. As I live in LA, I am a bit too far away to supply the workhorse for them down in San Diego. He expects to have it sorted within a month or so.

Here's an update for those of you wanting covers for 2012, 4.6. My brother and I had his car prototyped this AM at MGP Caliper Covers. I don't know if you can order them yet but his are now in production. Happy New Year to everyone.

I've got a red set with the GENESIS words engraved in them coming for my 2011 titanuim 4.6

Will post pics when I get them installed.

So, I'm new to some of this. How hard is it to paint a caliper? My guess is that it's not something I want to take on my self...

The big brown truck is on the way right now. Arrival date is the 17th. I'll post pics when I get them fresh out of the box, and then I'll install them between snow showers and work.

I almost had MGP change my original design for us Genesis owners to the flying wing badge as another option but I was too late. My units were already in production.

So if any other Genny owners are considering getting a set of these covers and want to spring for the custom engraving, consider the wing badge option. I'm sure we'd all love to see it.

I would get the wings, but I don't think it's worth the $100... If your's look sharp from a distance, I think I might go for the standard red though.
