  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Brake Caliper Covers

The big brown truck arrived to day so as promised, here are the pics of the red covers with silver lettering.

I almost had MGP change my original design for us Genesis owners to the flying wing badge as another option but I was too late. My units were already in production.

So if any other Genny owners are considering getting a set of these covers and want to spring for the custom engraving, consider the wing badge option. I'm sure we'd all love to see it. :D

These look great. I have a 2015 3.8 sedan. I have tried to read all of the threads to see what my options are. Would you recommend i call MGP to see if they carry these for my car? If so, I would love your contact if you have one. Thanks.

I'm not surprised that you like the caliper covers. I have them on my 2015 Genesis. The company which makes them, MGP Calipers, is located less than 3miles from my home here in California. The link to them is: http://calipercovers.com/contacts They are a little pricy but no one else makes them. I've had them on cars since 2011. They don't wear out and NEVER get dirty. They are readily noticed by almost everyone. I had my wheels replaced with the exact same ones except that they are chrome now. That is another benefit to having the covers. The wheels do not get any brake dust on them EVER. Have fun.

Thank you for the reply. I put 20" TSW Bathurst wheels on my Genesis. I will call tomorrow to make sure they will fit. Thanks again.

Finally received my MGP custom Genesis Caliper Covers. Was concerned they would not fit with the TSW Bathurst 20" wheels but no problem.

When I bought my car, I pulled the rear wheels and applied black caliper paint to the rear calipers so they would match the front black ones. Still looks great 2 years later. Not sure why Hyundai couldn't have painted the rears at the factory. If you like red, you could do both the front and rears.

CMAJOR:

I think it looks good! I hope they hold up weather wise and quality.
For me I am paranoid about longevity and what not that is why I did like Bill K and got the HIGHEST temp paint I could find in that cool GOLDEN 350z color. No problems at all. I get lots of compliments. If I change the color again, I may go with Lambo lime green. :)

Nice work!!!

Thank you. Now I just have to decide if I am going to paint the front grill to match the wheels. I am going to check other threads to see if anyone has done that yet.
