Audi A7 is a hatch back. Completely different catagory
I'm sorry but my fellow Genesis owners that feel that way are just wrong.
Hmm. LOLOpinions cannot be wrong or right. They can only be debated on non-factual grounds.
Hmm. LOL
Personally, I think it's funny. The "let me defend my purchase and discredit opinions" camps are always the bestest.
The distinguishing difference is that the Fusion has a bumper portion dividing the grille, which is otherwise the same shape.![]()
the fact that it is a hatchback is irrelevant. the body lines of the car, the shape of the trunk, and the grille resembles the A7. the way the rear of the car opens is unique on the Audi but hardly puts it in its own class.
a previous poster compared the Genesis to the S-class and E-class, and even the ford fusion.... I think the A7 is a more likely comparison in the looks department than some of these.
The same team might have been used to design the BK2 coupes and the 2nd Genesis Sedans...both took a nose dive into the ugly pool.
For the same look and comparable features, just grab a Ford Fusion Platinum.
Gen2 nods to catfish.
To each their own.![]()

I wonder if it has to do with cross-brand styling...hmmmm..If you mean the same shape as the Genesis grill, then you better look again as they are NOT the same shape at all - the Fusion grille shape is very much like and Aston Martin Grill though...
