  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3T Ecu tune

Just to clarify, just the ECU tune is $1450. I will edit the original post. The TCU and AWD tunes are separate.

Another really promising company providing ECU + TCU and AWD tunes. LOZIC out of South Korea. They will ship you a pre-programmed ECU that you swap in for $1450 shipped to your door. Check out the video.

What's great is this is a mild 92-93 Octane (97 RON) tune making ~420whp yet still does 0-60 in 3.5!

* Pops and crackles
* Removal of launch torque limits
* Launch will build boost
* Popcorn in Sport mode
* Maintain power on shift

This is the best looking option I have seen so far. Really curious to see someone get this and the TCU flash. Tork was my experiment so I am not testing anymore ECU tunes until I am more certain of the results.

Yeah, Lozic seems to have lots of experience, so I feel good about this one. Didn't go well with Tork?

I posted the results above. It works. Just not impressive or worth the cost. Kinda meh for the price. I would for now recommend to stick with the JB4 or else pick a tuner that has figured out launch control torque limits.

Oh right. I remember now!

It's been awhile... How is this tune doing for you after 6 months?

Also, I'm having trouble finding a link to the actual product...

Just to touch back on this, I've been in contact with these guys and not sure if they're just really busy or things get lost in translation, or both, but I'm left with quite a few questions.

Did you just use all of their default values on the order sheet? I guess I'm trying to figure out what is possible with this tune and/or what is really optimal.

Did you go ahead and do the TCU/AWD as well? If so, what were the costs on those? If not, do you know what kind of numbers you're getting with just the ECU?

Much appreciated.

Just put in my order for the Lozic ECU and TCU. I will let you know how the process goes and how the car feels after install
Well done sir. Be patient. He's crazy busy all the time. What specs?

I did 1.4bar with bubble on sport mode only with the TCU at -5% and shift pressure 2. Did not want to go crazy as this is a daily driven family car

Went with the 1.4bar as I plan to use the JB4 for WMI control and fine tuning boost.

Great choices. I'll be real curious to hear how the shift pressure 2 is for you.

Did you get the TCU? If so what level did you get
I got 3 but found it too aggressive for my liking. Others like it though.

Just curious with the Lozic Tune, when you swap the ECU out to the Lozic tuned one, your mileage and everything would essentially reset no?

Nope. Everything stays exactly the same.

oh...so in other words if I ever need to bring the car for any warranty work, I can just swap to my OEM ecu? If that's the case, might actually pick up the Lozic Tune instead of the JB4

Yep

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you swap the OEM ECU back in, won't there be a massive gap in the logs for the period it was not installed? And wouldn't this tip off the dealership that you have an aftermarket ECU?

Or are the ECU logs stored away from the ECU? Which would mean there would be logs for the tuned ECU stored in the car somewhere?
