How would you characterize the red interior in real life? In some pics and videos it looks pretty bright and loud, while others (including Genesis pics) show it as a darker and deeper red.

I'm a bit color blind but to me it's a medium red. That top picture looks a little washed out. It's better in person.

Is this an accurate portrayal of the red, or is the color too muted in the photo? It’s what I hope it will look like in real life, especially since the seats will be red leather, unlike the prestige which has the contrast black seats.

I read the section in the manual about the "break in" process but it does not say for how many miles? It just says keep the rev's between 2000 and 4000 RPM's. I say's don't tow a trailer for 1200 miles ( no problem) but does not say how many miles... odd

One of the best things about owning this car (aside from enjoying driving it around and playing with all the tech) is the looks you get from people driving it around. Guy on the street stopped me when I was getting out to ask me all about it. He said he saw it online and wants to get one ASAP.

I just took delivery of a Uyuni White with Ultramarine Blue 3.5 Prestige yesterday. Traded in a 2014 Jeep. Love the color combination and the crazy amount of features nicely tucked away. Feels like a Bond car without the available countermeasures

Thank you for the personal ownership reviews. I am excited. Is anyone experiencing dealer markups. I am picking up a 3.5 Prestige Uyuni White with Blue in Utah in mid July because the local dealers and most of the country are adding a mark up (DMU) of $5K to $9K, which is shameful. I have been promised by this dealer will not add a DMU and no dealer installed options. If the Utah dealer reneges and charges a DMU, I will forfeit my $1K deposit. Time will tell .

I just took delivery of a Uyuni White with Ultramarine Blue 3.5 Sport Prestige, fully loaded. Two other local dealerships (I’m in Orange County, CA) had $5000 markups on all their GV70’s. I went to a third dealership the next county over and they were not marking up their cars. There was no negotiating on the MSRP (same thing with the other two dealerships), but they also gave me $500 more for my trade-in than the other two.

My 3.5 Sport Plus arrived yesterday to the dealership. I didn't have a chance to go closer because the dealer was closed and there was a fence preventing me going in. I really want to see the interior in person because I choose red nappa leather and only saw it in photos and videos (i have seen it in a Sport but they aren't quilted and have black mesh in the center and no carbon fiber trim). I have been waiting for it to arrive for the last 3 weeks.

Congrats. I just went by my dealer today to pick something up and they had just gotten about 10 Sport Advance models in (all 3.5) They said they are getting the 2.5's in next week. They were the top dealership for Genesis for June. They've sold 13 GV70's ( all Sport Prestige) from June 10th until today.

My salesmen sold 15 since i did a test drive on june 12. Half of it were the Sport Plus (I think in the US they are called Sport Prestige). The salesman is a close friend of mine but he was off today otherwise I could have gone during the day to see it closer. He asked the other salesmen to show me but they were busy with appointments.

One thing I find confusing is the rear wheel drive "bias" on this machine. When I have the drive wheel gauge up on the center screen it shows power being equally distributed front and rear. Even under hard acceleration. In my custom setting I chose sport setting for the AWD and the computer does not reflect that. It looks like both front and rear are the same. I thought the front would only kick in if the rear was slipping. Guess not.

I love the ultramarine blue interior with the unyi white. Sharp combo. Also like that there are many unique color options.
