It's definitely more involved, since not only do you have to remove the bumper, but also the radiator cowl with active flaps. The
Stinger doesn't have the active aero like our cars do, and Dan has a cool workaround to avoid any errors from removing the active flaps.
I've been planning on installing the Velossa Tech snorkels for a while now, and I was emailing Dan extensively during the design phase (not to say that I had any constructive input for the design - because I didn't!).
The snorkels will most certainly improve air flow to the filters over the factory snorkels. But, such a restriction will mostly be removed by installing any
aftermarket intake. Even so, the new snorkels will funnel cooler, outside engine bay air in all conditions. Also, when driving fast enough, air pressure at the turbo inlets should actually increase (with the factory intake).
Take a look at the factory snorkels...

Logically, it makes sense to upgrade with Velossa Tech. Objectively, on the other hand, it remains to be seen what gains, if any, will be had. Personally, I think there will be gains, but only in certain environments/situations. These may not be worth it for some, but for me it is.
