I went with the 2.0T AWD dynamic package in Himilayan Gray. I went with this mainly because I wanted either this color or silver and out of my 3 dealers it was the only option plus I came from a limited sonata and needed those bells and whistles. Once you have them you cannot go back without feeling like a peon.

Oh, thanks for the clarification. I thought the Dynamic had a sportier suspension than the Sport. Good to know I was wrong.

I'm thinking about getting the Silver 3.3T Elite instead of Sport, as I really don't care about all the sport features, minus the dark chrome trim. Just hoping I can figure out how to completely paint the chrome dark - primarily on the grill behind that clear sensor cover...

I know some folks get the chrome wrapped but that grill could be a bug-a-boo.

I'm assuming it will be a huge pain, if it's even possible. But, by getting the grill separately I could tinker without the worry of ruining things, as I'd have a backup.

First of all I'm trying to get a G70 which is a huge challenge considering its been sold just in one third of the USA states. If I succeed then it will be a 3.3T MB Prestige.

As one of the only two G70 colors at the auto show’s I’ve attended, that’s a stunning color choice. I also favor the Prestige as several reviewers (including Alex on Autos) and owners have noted that, even without the adaptive dampers, the ride is excellent. Funny thing, the main reason I don’t like the Sport wheels is because, altjough good looking, they are similar to the wheels on my Elantra. The Prestige 10 spokes are the closest Genesis has to my favorite wheels, the BMW M400.

I wanted top trim...bigger engine...AWD...and I like the look of the Sport. Especially the full quilted seats with the gray stitching. Even at top trim...the price is unbeatable by any other car on the market for what you get.

Very easy decision for me. Didn't even think twice.

Although I’m favoring Prestige, it is undeniable the combo of the Siberian Ice and the Sport dark chrome is fabulous. So happy that you got your first choice!

Start with the premise that no package is truly worth what you pay for it. That goes for every brand of car. No car is a good fiscal investment. Now that you are past that, what do you want out of your car? Basic transportation or a fun drive?
Personally, I'd rather have a full loaded Elantra or Sonata than a base model Genesis. My car is fully loaded. If common sense prevailed in car buying, we'd all be driving 5 year old Corollas. Get what you want and can afford and don't look back.

Good points EdP. I will be walking both side of the fence by keeping my paid-off, reliable 2011 Elanta to commute and rewarding myself with a G70.

That's exactly what I’m looking for. The Prestige RWD. My reasons are almost the same as yours.
. 3.3 T because of the power
. Parking sensors, Rain Sensing wipers, Low Beam Assist and Sunroof
. HUD and 360° view camera
. Light interior Napa leather
. 19" wheels with10 spoke rims, I don't like the dark 5 spoke sport rims.

There is one more confusing aspect to these package names, because the 2.0T has a Dynamic package that is described as:

Aimed at drivers who want even more performance, G70 Dynamic 2.0T adds:
· Limited-slip differential (RWD only)
· 19-inch alloy wheels with summer tires (F P225/40R19, R P255/35R19)

Personally, I think Genesis should have kept things simpler, like the Kia Stinger does, but compared to the mind-numbing options packages on many of the German competition, the G70 packages are more straightforward.

IMO i'm most attracted to the sport option with the darker features and upgrades wheels/interior. Either way if you are in a cold climate and opt for the AWD this vehicle could due with proper tire upgrades; especially for winter.

I'm between Havana Red and Mallorca Blue for colors. Likewise, I'm between Prestige and Sport. I'm in cold weather area so the tire dilemma is my biggest point of contention. Right now I'm leaning to MB 3.3T Prestige.

I was exactly in the same position as you but in a hot weather, ended up with a 3.3T Havana Red Prestige.
