  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

What'd you say to get it?

I just put in a request today, similar refundable deposit, and was quoted straight MSRP.

In fairness, they were willing to give me 2k off a blue one on the lot, but I decided to stick with finding a grey.
Ended up getting to know the owner. $1k off is hardly a hit to any dealer. Since I was the only owner in Richmond, VA...basically free advertising 😜

I just asked for an out the door price, then offered $1k less and they took it. Maybe should’ve asked for more. The other dealers had all sorts of junk fees so I was happy to keep it simple with this dealer. End of the day I’m happy

Got mine ordered for 3000 under Msrp.

Just signed all the paperwork for my Silver 3.3 AWD Sport w/gray stitching.

Gotcha beat, $4,000 off MSRP! But, it's only because of circle pricing. Another nice bonus is that Oregon only charges 0.5% tax on new cars. My total, out the door price is almost exactly 49k.

I'm so pumped.

Edit: the downside for me, however, is shipping. Paying to have it shipped in a closed container from MI to OR. $1,800 is the price I pay to get exactly what I want (and to do it safely w/good insurance). Worth it? For me, yes.

Excellent! Glad you finally got it all worked out. Travel safely and let us know when it arrives at your house.

Definitely. I'll post a new thread on the shipping process complete with pictures after it arrives.

They said it should ship on 2/28, and will take approx 5-7 days to arrive.

Got $5k under MSRP on a SI 3.3T AWD Sport, pretty excited about it. Picked it up yesterday. Salesman said price was under invoice, but not sure I believe that, but either way, got a pretty good deal on it.

What dealership. Was there any negotiation or did they drop their pants off the bat?

That is under invoice lol. I think invoice is like 47 or 48

Elgin Genesis in Illinois, they first offered I believe $3k under MSRP, I asked for another $3k under that, and we settled on $2k, so for a total of $5k off sticker.
Holy F. Does that include any other incentives (conquest, lease cash back, etc)...or is that purely off of MSRP?

I got $4,500 off...but that includes conquest, LCB, etc.

It included the $1k conquest incentive, but that was it.

So you purchased rather than leased, did you have a trade-in?
Correct, i purchased. I didnt have a trade-in, Im going to sell my car myself, once weather gets a little nicer. Will give me something to drive if it snows.

Very good. As far as I know, you got the best deal so far of anyone that has posted. Thought maybe you had a trade-in and screwed around with the numbers but it wasn't that.

Congratulations, enjoy and be safe.

So that means they moved $4k off MSRP...which is amazing.
The dealer mentioned they don't sell a lot of Genesis models, and they only had a couple on the lot. So maybe they factored that into giving me a good deal.

Thanks! Im super excited, it feels like I've been waiting forever for this car to hit the US, and I got the exact one I wanted, well I did want the red stitching, but it wasnt a deal breaker, since the G70s are for the most part hard to come by still it seems.
