2015 Genesis "Likes":

1. A/C seats, especially cause I live in Miami, FL
2. Panoramic Roof, even tho I live in Miami. It keeps the heat out very well.
3. HUD, very nicely done. I barely look down or side to side anymore. lol
4. Exterior/Interior, both are done tastefully. Not too over the top.
5. All the white LEDs used in the car. I use to have to change them all myself. Glad I dont have to anymore.
6. Shuffle is always on!! I hated in my 2013 Gen Coupe I had to press Random, every single time I start up the car.
7. 9.2" 720p screen is very sharp!! Looks much better than my friends Lexus GS 12" screen. lol (Wish it could do split screens like the GS can)
8. 27GB Jukebox. Nice to be able to copy over my MP3 collection. Then have my 64GB USB drive. I have almost 80GB of music onboard!! :O
9. How it looks for artist cover arts for almost every song I have.
10. All the safety stuff.
11. Very comfy seats!!
12. How there so few of us on the road. Not like everyone else with their 5 series, e-class, gs, cts, or a6.

the rear sun shade will lower itself when you put your car in reverse, then raise back up once it is back in drive.

Yes I had noticed that one to and thought it was very practically thought out.

Almost all of the cars that I test drove with a rear sun shade would lower on reverse. The Genesis is the only one of those that would raise it back when you switched to drive.

• The little things like the design of the center console lid. Much nicer than most cars that you lift it open from the front.
• The way the visor entends the full length of the side window.
• The way the visor light automatically turns on when you slide open the mirror.
• The option to set up favorites on the phone for those you call the most.
• The auto hold function still amazes me. It is so great to be stopped at a redlight and not have to hold the brake.
• I come from a long list of Hondas, it is so nice to simply open the hood and have it stay open without having to prop it up with a metal bar
• The Goggle Search function is worth every dime of the BlueLink cost.
• The endless power of the trottle. It just seems to go and go and go...
• The transmission shift points are smooth as silk
• The goes on an on an on....

Auto time change adjustment. Go past a time zone border, it asked us which time zone we prefer.. Moves the clock if we want it to change.

Dozens of other things to like. This struck me when it popped up the day I was traveling back from taking delivery.

Almost all of the cars that I test drove with a rear sun shade would lower on reverse. The Genesis is the only one of those that would raise it back when you switched to drive.

The 2014 Limited Azera had this ability. One of the reasons I went for the tech package.

Had my car for 2 days, like many of you, one of the first things I've appreciated is the quality of the leather used on the seats. My previous three cars were BMWs and I prefer this to BMWs standard Dakota leather. It is very similar to the "novillo leather" I had in my 2008 M3. In fact, the smell inside the car reminded me VERY MUCH of the smell of my M3 when it was brand new, makes me wonder if they might not be sourcing the leather from a similar place, or using a similar processing...

new like -align steering wheel warning- this could save you from pulling out of a parking spot and hitting car next to you if your steering wheel is turned too far

The bottom panel in the trunk covering the spare has a recessed handle you use to pull it up, just realized it is shaped in a way that it hooks to the back lip of the trunk opening to hold it open.

This may seem like a small detail, but my last car (Lincoln LS) couldn't fit a full gallon even if I drained the tank completely. This left me stuck with an almost empty bottle for about a week until I used enough to fit the last little bit.

I know it is a little thing, but the windshield washer capacity is something I did not realize.

One of the things I was prepared to miss was a fairly massive capacity compared to my wife's previous car that the Genesis replaced.

One more nice bit of engineering. Of course, my wife could care less, but that's okay because she loves the car.

some little, less obvious things I have noticed that are really cool and quickly come to mind:

1) backup camera vertical view you can switch to
2)auto-adjusting clock (both digital and analog) based on GPS location
3) auto-opening trunk continues to get the most jeers from people im showing the car to.
5) split screen infotainment is awesome and very convenient
6) I can't get enough of the little jingle that plays when you get in the car.
7) the way the center console and console where USB/car chargers are located open.
8) ambient lighting in the car...very soft and unintrusive
9) solid feeling when shutting the doors

I found a new like this past weekend. One that I didn't even know the car had. While approaching a sharp turn, about 1000ft before I got there, a calming voice comes over the speakers and says" sharp turn ahead" or something along those lines. Pretty neat safety feature...
