3 dislikes:

I dislike G1 owners comparing it to a Ford Fusion because it has a horizontal grille. Anyone who cannot tell apart a massive, beautiful luxury car from a Ford must not have eyes.

People who poke fun at the Genesis badge, saying it looks like Chrysler. It is a centerpiece with wings. Bentley, Chrysler, Mini Cooper, Genesis, and several others all have something vaguely similar. Lexus, VW, and Infiniti all have an emblem with a ring around it. So what?

The odd jokes about the Genesis and some Phil Collins band. I don't know what's more embarrassing: the fact that the first association people have with the word is some 80s band, or the way they try to poke fun at the name by posting in obscure song titles from that band.

Your messing with one of the seminal groups of the 60/70/80/90's. Some of the greatest arena concert bands of the 70/80's that also just happened launched the vocal career of Phil Collins.

The 2015 Genesis has a big ugly grille like Dodge Ram trucks....and Audi. Sorry, I love my 2012 design. The car looks better. I have people doing a double take on my car. 2012 is just a good looking car.

Have had the 3.8 Tech for about three weeks and so far have lost a zip drive and a key under the driver's seat. There's an opening to the subfloor where god help you if anything goes down there.

Today my Iphone slipped between the console and passenger seat (for the 5th time). When I reached in to retrieve it, it slipped up into the seat mechanism and I thought I was losing my mind because it seemed to completely disappear.

I'm going to start purposely losing change down there so when I come to trade the car in, I can claim a few hundred in intrinsic value.

Don't try to confuse me with sensibility and logic.

I've never dealt with anything quite like this before but it's entirely possible the space between the console and the seat is narrower than I've ever experienced. My hands are thick and the seats are firm so...

Your suggestion would be fine provided it doesn't alter the aesthetics of the interior. It may sound silly but I want the car to always appear the same as the day I drove it home.

I just ordered it - I'll let you know how it works (I have a black interior so it should bend in pretty well). The seat gap is small and tight on the Genesis - I dropped my phone and it was a b_tch to get out!

I have a beige interior but the link you provided says that it blends in with any interior so I'm guessing it resembles the dark space between the seat and console.

I have one (Drop Stop) in my car and it looks just fine. Fits perfectly. So much so we bought one today form my wifes new Santa Fe. Great Invention for sure. You can pick them up at Walmart for under $10.

I've had my '15 Genesis for almost two months now, so I've had an opportunity to use it's features. My biggest gripe is it's voice controls. The hands free system does not control nearly as many functions as the 4 year older Acura TL the Genesis replaced. With the Acura, I could control all A/C functions, get road and weather conditions (Eyes Free Siri does help some with that on the Genesis), turn on the rear window defogger. The Genesis requires exact wording in most cases, where the Acura seemed a little more forgiving. Overall, I'm pleased with my new Genesis, I just think it's voice control is a little lacking.

linmk2 yep, I agree (another former TL owner). On a tangent, what color is your Continental Mark II? I've always thought those were gorgeous cars...

The only dislike I've come across is that I can't play audio from my phone via USB so I don't get album art or anything like that. It's surprising to me why it can't/won't do this. It just says something like "Media device is not supported" when I try to connect via USB. At least it will charge the phone so that's good.

I've just been using Bluetooth which works fine but would still like the ability to play via USB.

Anyone know what the issue is with that? I have an Android (LG G4) phone.
