Alwaysforward: Thanks for the write up. I too am still on the fence about exterior color, so your (4) dealership experiences was interesting & helpful. I am STILL waiting to see an Ibiza in person. None in Houston yet. It's taking forever. I really love the beige interior. I get tempted to do black or white for the beige interior. (then I think about the cleaning required to make the black pop)
I'm so confused... I change my mind daily. Ugh... one day this will be over.![]()
Your welcome HEY GURL. I was on the fence too, hence our road trip to multiple dealers. I have seen the Ibiza Blue months ago and it was too bright for my liking. Nice color, but not what I was looking for. The other issue with the Ibiza Blue exterior is that it only comes with the Ivory Interior. I like to have more options on the interior even though I have already checked the box and will except any interior color.
If I wasn't in a hurry, my choice would be the Montecito Blue with Beige Interior (5.0 Ultimate no matter what color combo). The Gray interior would be my second choice being that we live in South Florida and the heat with the black seats pose an issue. But then you have the auto start feature so the black isn't that bad because you can have the car cooled down before you get in. Hence the reason of allowing that color choice as an option. Ivory really isn't white in color, more of a cream color and is not much lighter than the beige. Both Beige & Ivory would be the hardest interior colors to keep clean but you have to clean all interiors anyway so it is no more work than any other color. At least you have cleaners and conditioners now that you can put on leather to help it stay in good condition.
The more options you give yourself, the better chances of finding the car sooner. One thing you will notice when you start looking at all the color options (in person) is that you will find out you like them all

Good luck in your hunt. Can't wait to finally own one. Should be only a couple of weeks away now to be able to pull the trigger on one.
