I don't think it's a tremendous oversight, especially if you consider the take rate of LED headlights on the ideal competitors. It is somewhat disappointing, but the fact that they didn't release with the KDM model doesn't bode well. I wouldn't be surprised if we see them on the next Equus. I would be happy with the double projector with the LED turn signal. I just don't like that central amber light at all.
It is a trmendous oversight if only because the Genesis' top competitors offer full LED headlights as an option. As I mentioned before, we have yet to see a 5.0/RSpec model yet, so it is possible we can still get it. I can't imagine Hyundai would waste time, effort and money to test those lights with an orange reflector only to not offer it at all.
