  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post your custom wheels

Thanks, man. Appreciate the compliment. I was definitely feeling a bit sold short with the stock wheels given this was a luxury car and my neighbor's g37 came base model with 18's. I love this car. :)

Tirerack is awesome, btw. They called me to ask if I wanted a non-OEM recommended tire size, which was a nice courtesy. Highly recommend.

I might put some Ark lowering springs on next to improve the profile.

I have always loved that wheel. In fact so much, that was the dedicated winter wheel on my 5-Series. Great choice! :)

sorry about that.

Wheels - Braelin, BR02
Size - 19x8.5 front 19x10back
offset - not sure but these wheels were made vehicle specific, like all Braelin wheels of I'm not mistaken.
Tires - michelin pilot sport plus 245/45-19 front 275/40-19 back

here's another pic

These look like Ace Alloy Convex wheels.

Varrstoen ES1 20x8.5 +20 and 20x10 +25 General Gmax as-03 245/35 and 255/35

That car definitely needs to be raised up some. And the HID kids (esp the one in the fog lights) removed. You're harming everyone on the road's vision including your own.

Drop is perfect. What are you lowered on?
Wheels look a tad too wide in the back. Maybe it's just the angle.
Got a pic from the back?

Im on megan coilovers like everyone else it seems. The back wheel sits rt at the fender lip. If ran a tad bit of neg camber it would look a tad better but i may just leave t the way it is. I dont have a good pic of the rear that shows off the width very well

Why does it need to be raised? Obviously your not a fan of lowered vehicles but mine rides just fine and gets more than enough head turns/compliments. The car isnt much lower than stock to be honest. And i have had no complaints about the hid, mine are much more white than they look in the pic being that they are 4300k and the fogs are 3000k. So with that said, to each his own and i'd rather not look like every other genesis on the road

Think: TIC

Actually, I think it's pretty smart. Trick up a sick ride like yours AND build your own car wash to take care of it. Nice!!! :D

IMO the best looking wheels are the stock R-Spec 19s.

If I ever find a "steal" on those, I'm buyin' 'em!

+1

I'm just an old fart, but, IMHO a set of $2k+ wheels is the biggest waste of money we can do to our Genny. Some of the wheels do look good, just not THAT good. I really like the stock 19" wheels. Understated a bit, yet noticeable. My 2 cents.

It's all about personal choice. I commend everyone for making their Genny their own. Do I like everyone's choices? Absolutely not but I admire those willing to step out of the box. Keep it up members.

As for opinions we all know about those. :)

On the contrary, I have a lowered WRX. The issue is just that you don't have enough room for suspension travel with your current ride height given your choice of wheel fitment.

Low beams are fine since you have HID optics. It was more referring to the fogs. You cannot run HIDs in them because they glare everywhere and because they reduce your vision in both clear and poor weather.

Hey all, got the wheels put on last week and thought I'd share, they are MKW M111 20x8 and has Nitto 255 35 20 all around. Pretty happy but I may look at some spacers to get them out closer to the fender lip. Car is a 11 4.6 tech, I'm in central wi....still to messy to drive it much, and I'm out of town 2to3 weeks at a time anyway...let me know what you think...
