I agree. I am sharing my thoughts and observations. The technology is as good as the environment allows it to be. I am looking at it from programmers perspective and I would expect the system to work when certain conditions are met. Maybe it is the problem with poor calibration and system is having hard time recognizing the rain. Maybe it need the water droplets to be more refined for the sensor to pick it up. If that is the case, Rain-X will help. It will also help with your visibility during the rain in general. Again, I am just thinking out loud. It will not hurt to use Rain-X only in the sensor are just to check.
