I have had about 5-6 in the last week in and around Austin, Texas:
1. Getting petrol off Far West in North Austin. A gentleman with a State Capitol parking sticker comes up to me and asks, "What kind of car is
that!? Man that is beautiful!" We went on to talk for about 5 mins; he seemed genuinely interested. Asked about price, features, etc. He also asked if it came in a Hybrid.
2. Gentleman on Mopac (one of two major North-South expressways) was breaking his neck trying to catch up to me to see what the car was. You could see the puzzled look on his face as he pulled along side me.
3. Two fellows in a Lexus IS-350 in Lakeway (in The Galleria Parking Lot).
4. Gentleman in a 350z that I had to zip around to pass in order to get in the turning lane in Bee Caves.
5. (According to girlfriend) Gentleman in a G37 in Bee Caves
6. Two women smiled flatteringly in a Georgetown parking lot.
Girlfriend has noticed 2-3 other incidents. "It's the car; it's not me." (I'm not sure if she likes this or not

).
